The frigid but clear northern Pacific waters of January reveal this hooded nudibranch clinging to eelgrass while it feeds. Spreading and contracting its hood and tentacles in a graceful dance this 4 inch long sea slug is backlit by the sun through its translucent body.

Eagle River - Liquid Jewel of the Sunshine Coast Part 1
Immerse yourself in an inspirational four season journey through the Eagle River watershed from alpine to ocean. Unique “amphibiography” reveals exotic wonders above and below the water’s surface in this non-typical nature documentary. With no commentary each viewer is given the opportunity to respond primally, without the 'expert' interpreter, and the soundtrack arises organically, being mentored by the sounds of nature. Powell River, Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, Canada.
